To be honest, when I first heard that my grandma yingst made Pigeon Pie I was actually horrified! I thought why would grandma make that? Especially since my grandma was your average grandma and not living out in the woods or anything. Then I learned that this was actually more common and wasn't frowned on. I thought it would be fun to share some Pigeon pie recipes here and you can just switch it up and make these with chicken or quail. It's really a mindset as a America as I suppose that perhaps there are people who do eat Pigeon but to me they are more of a pet.
